Sara Ramirez Instagram – Pic of me in the grass, eyes closed, tuning into my calling and purpose, to my joy and pleasure, to the love in my life, to the truth and wisdom, to the pain and grief, to what feeds my soul, to the people who are for humanity and against genocide and apartheid, to the people who were and are advocating for a higher standard of Liberation, to our healed ancestors trancestors and spirits, to the winds of change.
Let me grow or let me go. It’s time to take a hiatus from this digital space. I’m grateful for community that shows up for the collective in person and/or in meaningful ways outside of this digital space. Grateful for grace and compassion, for softness as strength. Grateful for chosen family, friends, loved ones and comrades who understand the value of reciprocity and true community care as love. Grateful for community that checks up on me outside of social media and wants me in their lives not for extraction or transactional relationship, but for the practice of hope and transforming our rage into action together. Some threw me away but really didn’t get that I’m a seed and I continue to grow. At times I threw myself away but really didn’t get that I am part of a continuum and ocean of power and beauty, and will continue to contribute to the collective no matter where I land or who is there to receive me. May you all continue to look to your own gardens for the truth about yourselves. May you all gather the strength and courage to confront and manage your own conditioning and internalized oppressions. May you all be surrounded by the support and love to heal and grow and learn something new about yourselves. May you land on soft grass and be open to the winds of change in your hearts and minds. None of us are free until all of us are free. ☀️🌱❤️🔥
P.s. I’ve found that there has been no better space for confronting my own humanity, raggedy ways, imperfection, conditioning, need to unlearn/learn than activism spaces. Thank you activism community for inspiring/empowering me to confront, reflect, heal/manage my pain/conditioning/trauma into something that nourishes and fortifies the gardens of Liberation we are growing together.
