So last night I did a thing! I’ve created a night called “My Mixtape” at @verse.la where do what I do, combining comedy, improv and real music. It was packed and I had a lot of friends and fam show up. And my baby @theofficialmailebrady opened for me! I’ll share that video as well BUT, I was also blessed by the presence of the one and only @im.angelabassett. I cannot express enough how much she means to me as an Black Actor and as a human. To have her in the audience, filled my heart and I’m happy to say that I made her laugh and sing along with me! Wakanda Forever! Thank you Miss Angela for your kind words and your support! Moments like this, make the little kid in me, that still marvels that he’s on tv everyday and gets to meet his heroes, laugh with joy and pinch himself.
