I love visiting mysterious places and when I heard about the UFO village in taiwan, I was SO excited!!!
These abandoned UFOs are located in the wanli district of New taipei, Taiwan and exploring these towns made me feel like the main character of a mystery novel.
These UFO-shaped structures, originally envisioned by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen are now abandoned due to paranormal activity and financial troubles. It was constructed in the 80s, making them nearly 45 years old.
I would have loved to see what these decaying houses must have looked like if it were retained – it could have been a ultra modern neighbourhood layout, How cool!!
The Wanli UFO Village is located at Feicui Bay in northern Taiwan (an hour north of Taipei) and its a destination worth visiting. Most tourists skip this destination thinking its ‘abandoned’ but it still has a eerie charm to it.
