Aakansha Monga Instagram – so, what’s your RICH?
We’ve always associated luxury and richness with – Fancy cars, designer bags, penthouses, lavish vacations and all sorts of other pleasures.
But it’s high time to make the definition of being ‘RICH’ more ‘INCLUSIVE’.
Society feeds us only one definition of rich – ie. Get a high paying job, own a house, own a car or two and take luxury vacations.
But that’s BORING!
For me, richness lies in being healthy, being close to nature and being with the people I love ❤️
We must all find out what ‘being rich’ means to us, and not just blindly follow someone else’s definition of rich.
Being rich has less to do with – how big your pocket is and more to do with – how BIG your heart is.
Don’t get me wrong- there’s nothing wrong in wanting to earn more money. Infact, you DO need money to achieve my definition of “rich” too!
The issue arises when we only see money as a way to get materialistic pleasures and luxury. These desires can never be fully satisfied, no matter how much money we have.
Instead, we should see money as a tool for freedom — the freedom to live how we want, eat well (which can be costly), and pursue things that truly make us happy. This freedom is more than just buying things; it’s about having the time and resources to enjoy life fully.
