Ana Navarro Instagram – Had the best time at #whitehousecorrespondentsdinner. Got to see so many old friends and meet some new folks. I was sitting with @hiroyukisanadapr & @repjayapal and we had wonderful conversations about everything from politics, to heritage, food and sake. I met Wonder Woman! The first female Super Hero I can remember. How I wish I had a golden lasso we could tie around politicians so they’d say the truth. @potus & @colinjost did a good job, though it felt tamer than other years. But anything that gets Trump rage-tweeting in the middle of the night, is very good, in my book. This night is not about the clothes or the parties or celebrities. It about defending the free press and recognizing good journalists, while raising funds for journalism scholarships. I partied waaaay too much and too late. It’s taken me a full 24 hours to recover.
