@luvangelalewis The best way I can describe what this last ten years has meant is last night at 11:30something just off a plane with our two tired babes standing in the middle of an LAX parking lot, I’m standing there about to lose my s#* because our Lyft driver just pulled off and tried to play us and you calmly said, “Babe, just take a breath, clearly he wasn’t the driver for us”. And literally all I could do was take that breath, and acknowledge how right you were. That’s always been your super power. 💥 For all my ambition and spontaneity in the world, you have always been the anchor. The center. The calm. The breath. The space which grounds our ascent into whichever world we decide to create. Because of you we are boundless.
We have lived so much life in these ten years and I couldn’t be more grateful for taking life’s adventures with you. Time and time again we have committed ourselves to the work it takes to sustain all the life that is lived. We’ve experienced all the colors and yet I feel in this moment the most connected, committed and confident in our love. The work continues and the benefits are the full range of memories, laughter and joy no matter how it arrived.
I can’t express enough how much I adore you; respect you; admire you; and pray for you. I am so proud of the life we’ve built and the fruition of our dreams thus far. I couldn’t be more amped to continue this journey with you. Thank you for saying yes then and thank you for saying yes year over year since. Let’s keep this thing going! 🖤
