my next chapter in Manhattan as an Upper West Sider begins…found it! The way it all unfolded was wild and quite kismet and required trusting the universe had a plan as long as I didn’t go with something that didn’t feel like a level up to the loft I created in Brooklyn. They were gut tests!!! It led to something that was everything on my hope list truly. And on my 43rd birthday. Man, I feel like a woman. (Thank you for all the support and wise advice and rooting for this rollercoaster journey!)
2 minutes of me saying a true final goodbye to my bushwick loft, my first grown up NY home. The place that was so fun to shape into an 80s dance studio playground, a place I choreographed at 3am at, a place I discovered my calling as a NY dance teacher, a place where I healed a lot of stuck pain alone via mushrooms and colored lights and solo dance with headphones as nearby loft party bass could be heard thru the windows and walls, a place I lived as a true single woman for 2.5 years. I love who I am single I wonder if I prefer it?? Well I have kids now (dogs) and they are the reason I wanted to leave the trash filled streets of industrial bushwick to offer them clean nature off-leash frolic park hours in iconic Manhattan. 🍎 My Manhattan chapter begins I do feel emotional but when doesn’t a change feel that way?? Group 2’s last shift at the Pink Pony Club ugh I miss being wild and silly and releasing all our possible energy in class so much and all we keep doing is @chappellroan routines because it hits all feelings we need to hit rn it seems – classes resume June 30th like basically as soon as im back in town, giddyup @angelatrimburdance

Not super close with my parents (4 years since I saw my dad & 9 since saw mom) (wish that weren’t true, wish we at least had annual traditions) just caught up with dad on the phone then sent him this video of us dancing at mom‘s Dance Studio for a 50s party she threw. I like his footwork 🎀📼
