Soaking in the warm, heavenly waters of the Blue Lagoon amidst the cold weather was an unforgettable experience. Floating in the serene surroundings felt like a dream. They offer a complimentary drink and a mud mask, adding a touch of luxury to the visit.
However, a few things could be improved. The changing rooms are on the first floor, which means running to the lagoon with a wet body in the cold. They are also quite cramped, given the number of visitors. Each changing room has two small body lotion bottles, but they were empty. There’s a larger bottle near the bathroom, but who wants to run out to use it? Plus, there’s no designated place to keep your shoes. Additionally, the single complimentary drink feels a bit overpriced.
On a more thrilling note, there was fresh lava around, having stopped just one and a half months ago. It was my first time seeing real lava in my life.
