golden hour skin care✨ story time : i have had quite the journey with my skin in the past 5 years. i have very sensitive acne prone skin and have tried everything in the book to get rid of it. facials, treatments, 20 step skincare, diets, hormone and vitamin supplements etc. and nothing has made it go away completely. it has affected so many things in my life, the way i valued myself and my beauty was based on how my skin was that day, i didn’t want to go out when i had a flare up because people would think i was dirty or judge my skin. its wild to me how people with acne probably have the cleanest and most taken care of skin but somehow others look at it like it’s our fault. well, its not. i’ve had to learn to have patience with my skin and myself. to find balance in my life with food, and routines. the biggest thing i’ve learned with my skin is THE SIMPLER THE BETTER. i’ve taken my routine back to clean, simple, gentle ingredients & my skin is so much happier. i understand that my skin will very rarely be completely clear, but to love myself on the good skin days and the bad ones. skin does not define beauty. sending my acne prone peeps some extra love today, you are beautiful (or handsome) with or without 🤍🤍🤍
Today is National Fentany Awareness Day, and we want you to know, it can happen to ANYONE. Fentanyl is the #1 cause of death for people between the ages 18-45 in the U.S. Fentanyl is an opioid that is being made and sold illegally all over the world. Fentanyl is 50 times more potent than Cocaine, and 100 times more potent than Morphine. Two milligrams has the power to kill someone, that’s about the size of a few grains of sand. Illicit Fentanyl is being produced in labs in China and is taken over the U.S. boarders in pill or powder form. The powder is being mixed and pressed into pills withother substances such as Cocaine, Percocet, Adderall, Xanax and many more drugs. These pills are being sold on the streets to consumers who, in most cases, are completely unaware that the pill contains Fentanyl. This is what we are now calling an accidental fentanyl poisoning because consumers are in fact being poisoned against their will. Devon didn’t deserve this. No one does.
