They are joined by as many as 300,000 zebras that merge with the black mass of wildebeest, adding splashes of dazzling contrast. Zebra numbers may pale in comparison to the wildebeest, but what they lack in numbers they more than make up for in grace and poise – adjectives that are scarcely used to describe their awkward-looking counterparts.⁣
