Beverly Joubert Instagram – Seven months ago, @DereckJoubert and I began sketching out a plan for a small safari camp in the heart of Kenya’s Mara ecosystem. After a mammoth effort from a passionate and dedicated team, Mara Toto Tree Camp opened early this month. As with all @GreatPlainsConservation camps that we’ve designed, careful consideration is given to the artwork that surrounds those who visit. It’s important to us that the imagery invokes the wonder of the natural world and the wild spaces that surround the camp, while also serving as a powerful reminder of what we stand to lose if we do not protect our planet. Here I am with the team from Mara Toto Tree Camp getting ready to put the final touches on the treetop suites. These prints were carefully selected from my portfolio to encompass the spirit of the new camp and I couldn’t be prouder to see them on display.⁣
