Brie Larson Instagram – The slushie games have commenced! Are you Team Pimm’s or Team Scorpion? Personally, we’re team anything that makes us feel like we’re on vacation… *insert glass clink* 🍹(For those who want to follow along at home, we’ve shared both the Ninja slushie machine and blender recipes 😘)
Pimm’s Cup Slushie
Makes 8, 8 oz slushies
36 oz (1L) ginger beer
16 oz (475 ml) Pimm’s No 1, plus an extra 4 oz if you’re using a blender
4 oz (118 ml) gin of choice
4 oz (118 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
Fresh herbs, cucumber coins, and orange slices, for garnish
Combine the ginger beer, Pimm’s, gin and lemon juice in a large pitcher.
Slushie machine: Add the mixture to the machine and slush per the machine’s directions.
Blender: Transfer the mixture into an airtight container and freeze overnight. When you’re ready to slush, use a spoon or firm spatula to break up the frozen mixture, and transfer it to a large blender or divide it in half and work in batches. Add 4 more oz of Pimm’s (or 2 per if you are working in batches) and blend to slushify.
Pour into glasses and garnish with sprigs of fresh herbs, a cucumber coin, and a slice of orange.
Scorpion Slushie
Makes 8, 8 oz slushies
32 oz (1L) freshly squeezed orange juice, plus an extra 4 oz of this or rum if if you’re using a blender
10 oz (275 ml) light Puerto Rican rum, plus an extra 4 oz of this or orange juice if if you’re using a blender
8 oz (250 ml) fresh lemon juice
8 oz (250 ml) orgeat syrup
5 oz (140 ml) brandy
Amarena cherries and juice, for garnish
Combine the orange juice, rum, lemon juice, orgeat, and brandy in a large pitcher.
Slushie machine: Add the mixture to the machine and slush per the machine’s directions.
Blender: Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and freeze overnight.
