Check out the video to see exactly what me and family thought of it, I think it will surprise you!!! ☺️ If you sent give it a try, here’s the recipe: 125g margarine, softened 125g caster sugar 125g self raising flour 2 eggs Beat all the ingredients together until smooth. Happy dance 🪩 Went for a swim for the first time in weeks today and it felt SO GOOD!!!! 😊 It’s hard when life gets busy to take the time to look after yourself but it’s so very important ❤️ Can’t wait for the @superhero_series Tri in a few weeks, I can put my months of swimming training and lessons to the test!!! Hurled myself fully out of my comfort zone today!!! 😬 I absolutely love being a Team Captain for the Superhero Series, it is an event full of pure joy which encourages anyone living with a disability (the superheroes) and their friends/families/carers (the sidekicks) to get involved in one or all of the events. Last year I was meant to so do the swimming part of the triathlon but seeing as I couldn’t swim more than a few metres, they put me in a boat pulled by the amazing @ladybugstrust and it gave me a HUGE kick up the bum to set myself the challenge of learning to swim and swimming the same section this year. I started lessons at my local leisure centre in January and built up from there. And today I bloody did it!!!! I swam 150m in open water with no floats or assistance. I’m over the moon!! It’s never too late to learn something new and set yourself a challenge 💕 The @superhero_series really is magical and encourages everyone to do their best in whatever way they need. Congratulations to everyone who took part today and especially to my lovely team @siennas_cerebralpalsy_journey and @harleysalter ❤️ You guys were amazing!!!! #superheroseries #swimming #adultswimming #swimminglessons #triathlon

It’s 6 years this month since my world was so wonderfully turned on its axis and our series of Bake Off aired 🧑🍳 It has been the most wonderful time of my life full of things I never even imagined possible. And last night, at the Bristol Balloon Fiesta, my heart was overflowing with one of the most special moments ever! I’m a very proud Bristol girl so to have been asked by @bbcbristol to voice the Night Glow with @joesims10 was a huge honour.
