Courtney Hansen Instagram – Today would have been Jessi Combs’s 44th birthday. For those who don’t know who she was, it’s worth looking up her story. She passed away in 2019 behind the wheel of a jet powered race car at 550 mph in an attempt to break her own record as the Fastest Woman On Four Wheels. She is a hero & a legend. Jessi & I met when she was a guest on Overhaulin’ in 2005, became friends & then spent many days every month together in Nashville for 8 years while filming TV shows there. She also lived with me for a time in LA. We were always either laughing, or talking deeply for hours on end. On her birthday when so many are thinking of Jessi, I thought I would share a few fun photos from happy moments that show her bright personality. Jessi lost her life doing what she loved most. She was, & is, such an incredible inspiration for young women. Jessi was strong, driven, talented on numerous levels & as courageous as they come.
