This process is intense and inspirational and deeply emotional as I’m someone who likes to spend most of my time in the present, moving forward, and only looking back for very specific reasons. Who wants to relive every little thing ?!? But that’s what this moment calls for and I am honoured and grateful I get to share my story.
By the way … I have too much material because my life so far has been very full and rich, which is a happy problem. I set out to make this book, not to be just a straight up memoir, but a way to speak to all of you the way I do here, with intention and the desire to share my life with the purpose of hopefully enhancing yours.
Even though we vocalists warm up by singing “Me Me Meee” 🎵 that’s not actually where I live. I live in the land of “You You Yooou” and “We We Weee” and use this platform and my book venture to hopefully help you gain tools and inspiration to carry into your own daily lives with an awareness that by me letting you all in and showing you how I navigate and celebrate my life it may help someone out there gain insight and shift some energy. That, my friend, is the higher propose of this project.
I’m having fun speaking from a present day point of view while flashing back and going in chronological order to take you along on my private childhood journey and my public teen years and beyond. It’s hard to know if I will look back and feel I shared too much about where I am this minute emotionally, as situations are ever changing, but I err on the side of vulnerable and real and I can’t help but to be transparent. It’s who I am. Worst poker face ever 😉
So get ready to read me like your favorite book next year. Stay tuned for the actual date it’ll be on the shelves. Keeping the title under wraps for now but it is 💯 reflective of the dance I dance and the spirit and power we all possess 💃🏼 🪩 !!!
