I graduated from @slu_official med school in 2004 and I’m back on the stage 17 years later to give the #CommencementSpeech 📑
Wish my mother was here to see me walking with the Vice President and Deans of the medical school! My career journey has been so enriching.
If anyone told me as a graduating medical student that I would return to this same stage speaking words of encouragement to the future doctors of the world, I wouldn’t have believed that a girl from Kansas City, Missouri, the middle child of teen parents, would be selected from all the distinguished leaders in the 🌎 to do so.
This is evidence that God’s vision for one’s life is bigger, brighter and bolder than our wildest dreams💕
