Ellie Holcomb Instagram – I think it’s easy for us to put our hope in a LOT of things, especially in an election season as we focus on who will be chosen to lead our country. I so often grow weary of the drama, the headlines, the daily 24hr reminders that we live in a broken world with broken systems and broken people, but this verse from Isaiah reminds my weary heart that our hope is not in this country, or our constitution, or in any leader from any side of the political lines. Our hope is in the Lord. Oh God, help us remember it, even as we watch the news and go out to vote. Help us move forward always in love, with both truth AND grace, and trust that one day all things will be made well.
