Unfortunately it was not about his amazing new curls. 5. Got to visit the Hank Green of the Helbig family. TIM! 6. I liked this outfit! I’m into skorts now. The identity crisis deepens. 7. An important picture from Mexico that exudes both energy and passion. 8. Internet moms see internet dads in their wonderful internet show. 9. Internet moms pick up a rare, beloved Internet sprite along the way. 10. The creature returns to her natural form. Also sporks are the greatest utensil. Yet another important thing I’ve learned this year.

I posted a video talking about some of my favorite things lately and one of them is officially finishing my breast cancer treatment this week. I know, I feel like I’ve already “finished” 6 different times. It made me think about the last year and whoa. Wild. Crazy. Still doesn’t totally feel real. What a silly ride. This post treatment liminal space is pretty whacky. I’m grateful and proud and still a little anxious and nervous and forgetful and a little uncertain but ultimately I’m very good! I think! We went to the OC Fair and it was a feast for the senses. Animals for petting, giant vegetables to behold (no petting), food that made your asshole pucker with a single glance, rides, vibes, and, most importantly, the table setting competition. If you haven’t watched the documentary “Set!”, about the competitive world of table setting, you absolutely should. I was borderline starstruck seeing this competition in person. It was pure glee. Giddy glee. It was genuine and heartfelt and impressive and silly and weirdly touching (but don’t touch the tables!). Turns out I love the fair!
