Ilhan Omar Instagram – Today was a beautiful reminder of the power of community. We knocked doors in Northeast and South Minneapolis, stopped by Nokomis Days and the Uptown Art Fair, phonebanked with Jane Fonda, and participated in a wonderful conversation at the Oromo Studies Association conference. What I heard in every conversation is how important this election is. How important it is to have someone with a fearless voice fighting for our values in Washington.
The Fifth District deserves a representative who is their progressive champion—not a trojan horse for Republican values. Our movement is strong because it is fueled by people. Every conversation makes a difference. Every vote makes a difference.
