Jamelia Instagram – I wore this dress today as an ode to one of my favourite songs “A Rose is Still A Rose” by Aretha Franklin ❤️
I can’t tell you how many times over the years I’ve cried while listening to this song, but today, I used it as my theme tune to me finally, truly, walking in my power.
I can’t wait for you all to watch my journey on @celebsgodating I hope it serves as inspiration and a reminder that no one but you should be in charge of defining who and what you are, no one but you can stop you from having what you want and that self-acceptance is the true love we should seek and find before we look outside of ourselves.
