For this #TBT Let’s do a little walk down the #Y2K lane. I was asked to host the party for a movie called “Swimfan” in 2002 with @jason_ritter whom I love! And Erika Christianson (whom I never met). At the time I was doing the morning show, and also shooting 5 episodes at times of #extremedating so after the last taping I threw an outfit together. What you don’t see, is my “skirt” that I made out of my shirt. It was quite inovative I must say. Two holes at the sides of my hips and nude panties. 🥰😅 It got me on @usweekly ‘s Worst Dress List and it was an honor. One of the funnest evenings ever!!!! I believe it was at. @ucla swimming pool. I also remember someone from @ktla5news or channel 9 (I don’t remember who she was but not there anymore) who had a super soaker and blasted me with it. It was meant to be mean spirited bc I think she may have been wondering why I got to host the event who knows? But of course I laughed it off. She made it like a wet tee shirt contest which only made me more the focus. 😂😂😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thanks @adoringsharon for the pic!!!!
Some of my favorite pics of #SharonTate as we celebrate her life tmrw on the Joyride. It was 55 years ago August 9 (Friday) the ultimate nightmare happened. Sharon would be 81. Her sister Debra Tate has been in a parole hearing all day today (yes, they still try to get out and some do like Leslie Van Houten) why should decent people have to continue to relive this tragedy 55 years later? Tmrw I’ll be sharing some inside stories about the making of Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and other insights into Sharon’s world through the eyes of her sister. Deb has given me permission to share some of these stories with you. The picture hanging in the photo is a massive piece of art gifted to me by Deb. It was the cover of her beautiful coffee table book Recollections. I’ll also be sharing some of Sharon’s personal items and talking about the auction that I helped curate of her life. Time to celebrate these young beautiful people and also talk about the events of that night and where we are today in the case.
