Journey Kay Instagram – What people think being a child model/actor is vs reality. While I am sure there are exceptions I have a pretty normal life. Normal friends, I go to dance, I cheer for my school, yes I go to regular school. 😜😆 I like doing normal kid things making bracelets is one of my favorite hobbies and I LOVE to cook. I’m always making a mess in the kitchen (my mom loooveeess that). I have chores, I love snuggling with my dogs, decorating for holidays. And spending time with my family (even though my brothers drive me CRAZY) IYKYK. This summer I swam in our new pool probably every day. Even before and after dance 🙌😂 😂 I occasionally get to go on adventures. Being a model has given me the opportunity to travel around the US and even outside the country. I get special time with my mom and we always make sure to do fun things. Broadway show, touring NYC fairy rides going on the subway, just to experience it. Spending all day every day in the ocean in the Bahamas! 🤩 Every time we go to California we definitely make a trip to the beach! And I love going on the rides at Santa Monica pier! I once had a job in Lake Tahoe and we brought our whole family Along and turn it into a family vacation. We had so much fun! I really do love photoshoots and making new friends on set. I miss doing as many shoots as I did when I was younger. I have made so many friends, making small films, and even being in a feature film! I focus a lot on dance now so we have to turn down some jobs. Anyways my life is 99% normal 1% incredible. 😂 You guys see the 1%. Keep that in mind when you scroll through social media. You are seeing the highlights. 😜💗 Sending you all some light and love even though we have gotten a lot of hate lately. No hater can stop my joy. I’m thankful that I have learned to have thick skin. 👊 Oh PS if you are new here I have put a grown man in jail because he tried assaulting me. I’m pretty tough. I hope by sharing that experience we inspired conversations between parents and kids about what to do if God forbid something like that’s ever happens to you or your kids.
