The coming together of all of you — including friends like @officialjld, community leaders like @wendy.schmidt, activists like @nallelicobo and elected officials like @holly4lacounty — was 𝘵𝘩𝘦 difference in our victory over Big Oil and corporate polluters. Thanks to our collective activism, Big Oil has pulled their referendum from the California ballot.
That means we defeated their multi-million dollar effort to repeal SB1137 — a law that protects millions of Californians from the deadly impacts of oil drilling.
