Karimah Westbrook Instagram – Whew! How y’all doing? Catching my breath. This past weekend I had the opportunity to celebrate completing a directing mentorship program I was in called The Learning Tree. I applied for it earlier this year and I’m super thankful for the experience. I learned so much and I feel more prepared to navigate this lane of directing. It truly is an exciting new craft for me. Thank you to our rockstar mentors: @byrdjeff @princessfilmz @morenikejoela @danlwillis & @courtneyonfire. You’re so talented and have the biggest hearts. You all truly blessed us. I pray that all that you give comes back to you one hundred times over. You deserve it! To my fellows… we did it! I’m glad we got a chance to hang this weekend too. I’m so thankful to have met and connected with each and everyone of you. I look forward to continuing to celebrate with you when all of our directing dreams are no longer dreams, but a reality.
