Kathryn Thomas Instagram – My Papa built this house in Wexford over 70 years ago and our entire extended family has been creating amazing memories here since then. We had a big family reunion here 2 years ago to celebrate what would have been my grandfather’s 100th birthday and there were well over 50 of us in situ!! This is “my happy place” more than anywhere in the world. My cousins and I have all had so many happy childhood memories in this house thanks to my Gran & Papa and now we get to create new ones with our own children. We will be forever grateful to them for leaving such a beautiful legacy ❤️I was delighted to partner with @duluxheritageireland @irishtimesnews #sp on this campaign to give back some love to the house that has given us so much love over the years. We wanted to create a cohesive, laid back neutral look, bringing the outside in using colours that would compliment the beautiful sea views. We went for Green earth on the walls, waxed Khaki on the chimney breast, tied together with panel white on all the architraves.
