Guests arrive to a feast where every inch of the table is covered in food. There is a toast master and toasts are made for every person at the table, as well as absent loved ones.
I often wonder about how the younger generation will carry it on?
At first all that food might seem too extravagant, but what’s cool about those dishes is that they can last, after a supra we usually dine on that food for days.
The supra can also be relaxed and informal, with people coming and going.
I love that the tradition hasn’t changed much from my grandparents to my parents’ generation.
