Laura Kenny Instagram – I’ve had to learn to love my pregnancy body this time round. I’m heavier than I have ever been. I have struggled with what exercise I have been able to do because I got SPD so early on into my pregnancy. Bike riding started to really hurt at about 18 weeks. The pressure on my lower back was just unbearable. But then I came across @nordictrack_uk and there X22i incline machine. So I reached out to them to see if they could help me at all and honestly I think this machine has saved me from insanity.
From training every day to being in absolute agony has been tough but the incline on this machine has really helped take the pressure off my lower back and has meant I can carry on ‘exercising’ for the remainder of my pregnancy. I’m obviously slowing down now as I’m in the last few weeks!
