This is not an ad. This is a bride who is still floating on
cloud 9 that was just scrolling through her camera roll still in awe that God kept his promise & also made sure his daughter had the dress of her dreams. The way this alll came together STILL blows my mind 🤯
Y’all!! Ya girl was sitting under the dryer & scrolling IG & you know how the phone does that weird thing where it reads your mind or you speak about something & next thing ya know…it’s on your timeline 🤔😏 very creepy! This time I wasn’t mad, because I was on the hunt for 2 black women designers for my wedding dress & BOOM! Just like that…
So I found myself sliding ever so gently into their DM’s only to find out they were located in London 😩 I went back to page & did a little looking around. Y’all!!! Come to find out they were coming to do a bridal showing in the States the next month!!! Guess where!!

Baby!!! I nearly hit my head on the front of that hot dryer with excitement. 🤪
Anyhoo! A rep from their office called me back bright and early the next morning.
I had my 1st consultation with the designer Gbemi
We immediately hit it off! I sent her inspo pic & she got to sketching. From there she got my measurements & baby when they arrived to Houston for my in person that mock dress fit to perfection. The fitting was a brides dream.
We went back & forth via WhatsApp for months sharing ideas about the dress , having our laughs & becoming cool. This was bigger than the dress, this was turning into a friendship. Down to the final month while the dress was already in production, Gbemi continued to show how invested she was in making this dress everything I dreamed of down to every detail.
At my final fitting, as I slipped into the dress, I was brought to tears. I could feel the love that was stitched into every layer of tool & lace. This was a God moment.
