For anyone who is not familiar, “Les Trois Coups” is a uniquely French tradition to signify the start of a performance and one taps the baton 3 times to get the attention of the audience.
I appreciate that they have used that tradition as a way to not only bring French tradition to the games but also to recognize other athletes at every single Olympic event.
