Lisa Ann Walter Instagram – Sam Rubin was my friend and colleague – on this ride with me for the entire 30 years in this business. I loved making him laugh – even more I loved shocking him just slightly as I did many times on KTLA & his show, Hollywood Uncensored.
He was unfailingly supportive, a beloved fixture on the red carpets – lately our running gag was him asking me what my son said as I left for an awards show – and laughing heartily when I’d report that he didn’t really notice I was in a gown and asked me to pick up food.
He even agreed when I asked him to serve our union.
I honestly don’t know how a red carpet or press event will feel without Sam. Hollywood lost today.
