In 3rd Grade, Mari Copeny wrote to then President Obama about the water crisis in Flint. He wrote back, and the rest, as they say, is history. Now 16, Mari talks about how Flint STILL needs clean water, what becoming an activist at such a young age has taught her, and what’s next for her (her 17th bday party, of course!). While she describes herself as “just a girl,” it’s clear that even one voice can make a big change.
