My first single in 5 years is out now—We Belong is an original song I wrote for @1946themovie, which is officially available for streaming now!!! You can hear this song and my original score—it was an absolute thrill to compose 💕 I’m exhausted from tour rehearsal and prep and driving, but I CANNOT wait to sing this song and other new unreleased songs to y’all on my tour with @jennyzigrino which starts tomorrow in San Diego! Also OMG I PRODUCED THIS TRACK IN MY OWN STUDIO! I’ll post some clips later today from tracking violins with @aishaburnsmusic. @tvb.music did bass & guitar! @creeksta mixed and Ruairi O’Flaherty mastered. Music video was directed by Steven Tsang @sparksfilms_ , and stars the absolutely captivating @julesskloot and was filmed at All Saints Church in South Hadley, MA.

While studying Music Composition at Cornish College of the Arts, she found a home in the spoken word community of Seattle and began experimenting with infusing poetry into her music, performing frequently as a cellist, singer-songwriter, and poet. Lambert had never released music and was juggling multiple food service jobs when she received a call from Macklemore and Ryan Lewis to collaborate on their marriage equality anthem, “Same Love”. Writing and singing the hook to “Same Love” led to an MTV VMA win and two Grammy nominations: Song of The Year and Album of The Year.
