McKayla Maroney Instagram – Aly baby. u know i love youuu. So I’m sorry to post such a low quality selfie😅 just really proud of you and your vulnerability on the call her daddy podcast. It can be scary to be real, when we were trained to show up “perfect” … down to the littlest details. I remember when our coaches used to ask if we were okay. We were trained to say “yes” no matter how we felt (or what body part was broken lol.) Those things made us really tough athletes, which I’m thankful for… but long term it doesn’t build the healthiest foundation for a person. With that being said, I’ve watched you work incredibly hard on yourself to grow into someone who can speak out and make a difference for girls like us.
