Tuntuu, että ois tullut jostain henkisestä umpiosta ulos, missä on keskittynyt vain yhteen asiaan ja vältellyt katsomasta muualle. Vihdoin aivot kirjaimellisesti tuulettuu! 🌬 Aloitettiin matka laivalla kotoa Mallorcalta ja jatkettiin kalastajakylään La Isleta del Moroon, joka oli hetkeen unohtunut lintujen, koirien ja kalojen koti. Upea paikka! Granadassa parasta oli flamenco ja Rondassa pullistuneet kallioseinämät. Seuraavaksi eksytään Sevillaan ja sieltä reitit on auki seuraaviin. Onko mielessäsi joku paikka, missä kannattaisi kääntyä, kiipeillä tai kumartua? Ja näyttelystä vielä sen verran! Pienestä lähtien oon halunnut mennä puiden sisään. Niinpä päätin kokeilla, voisiko se olla mahdollista. Puu, joka nielaisi naisen -näyttely avautuu Konst & Formissa Gumbostrandissa 14.6 ja on avoinna syyskuuhun. Ajaton todellisuus valtatien vieressä. Tällä viikolla päädyin pysähtymään Loimaalla Alpo Jaakolan patsaspuistoon. Puiston takana oli tie, joka johti puolikilometriä metsään. Sen metsän sisään Alpo rakensi tämän todellisuuden, luonnolle ja sen hengille omistetun pyhätön. Sanotaan, että Alpo oli näkijöitten sukua, totuuden etsijä, joka uskoi parhaiden teostensa syntyneen ulkoisen voiman ohjaamana. Alpo ei ikinä pysähtynyt. Hän rakensi kaikesta näkemästään kaikkialle näkemäänsä. Viiden hehtaarin alueella on yli 80 veistosta betonista, kivenlohkareista, romusta ja puusta. Yöt Alpo maalasi. Hänen hirsimökkinsä kymmenet seinät olivat täynnä hänen uskoaan ja untaan. Viimeiseen seinään, johon katsoin, huomasin jotakin, joka pysäytti. Neljän elementin, veden, tulen, maan ja ilman, viereen oli piirretty ja kirjoitettu viides puuttuva elementti. Tervetuloa. ❤️ Tämän kesän näyttelyni Puu, joka nielaisi naisen on nähtävillä vielä koko elokuun Sipoon Gumbostrandissa Konst & Form -galleriassa. Olen pienestä asti halunnut ymmärtää ketä ja mitä puut ovat, ja miksi niiden vierellä on niin hyvä olla. Kasvoin Koillismaalla puiden keskellä ja viihdyin jo lapsena usein paremmin metsässä kuin ihmisten seurassa. Isän kuoleman jälkeen aloin lähestyä puita ensimmäistä kertaa kameran kanssa. Löysin puista surun keskellä erityistä lohtua. Valitsin näyttelyn kuville monivalotustekniikan, jossa useampi kuva kuvataan samaan kuvaan. Tekniikka on itselleni ja monelle muulle tuttu filmiajan valokuvista, kun filmi jumiutui tai vahingossa kuvasi kaksi kuvaa samaan filmirullan ruutuun. Lopputulos oli aina yllätys. Prosessi oli hidas ja ennaltamäärittelemätön, ja sen takia haastoi luovuutta. Yhtä kuvaa oli mahdollista kuvata kuukausia liittäen siihen aina uusia kerroksia. Kuvatessa nautin siitä, että en voinut ennakoida lopullista teosta vaan se oli monen yhdistyvän yksityiskohdan ja energian summa. Parasta oli kuitenkin saada unohtua metsään. Olen esittelemässä näyttelyä tulevana lauantaina 17.8 kello 13-15. Kerron kierroksella näyttelyn lähtökohdista ja sisällön synnystä. Gumbostrandista löytyy meri, metsää sekä yhteensä viisi näyttelyä että kahvila. Näyttely on auki 2.9 asti. ❤️ #puujokanielaisinaisen

It has accompanied me on several hikes, walks and stays in nature. I can say its new features have surprised me in such a positive and inspiring way! Here are some shots (photos 2 & 6) I made with the camera during moments that required quick response. I saw this small Viviparous lizard taking it easy in the middle of thick Ostrich fern bush. I have really enjoyed the cameras’ new 45MP stacked sensor that enables high resolution in every circumstance. Even quicker encounter was a moment with a dragon fly which stayed still only a moment before disappearing to play with its mate in the air. In this situation I found it very useful for being able to take up to 30 RAW frames per second. The moment passed so quickly and I had only a few shots before the protagonist took off. The new feature of pre-capture allows the camera to capture images half a second before you have even pressed the shutter. New camera has been tested. 📷 Paid collaboration with @canonnordic I have had the pleasure to test the brand new Canon R5 Mark II camera during this summer! It has accompanied me on several hikes, walks and stays in nature. I can say its new features have surprised me in such a positive and inspiring way! Here are some shots (photos 2 & 6) I made with the camera during moments that required quick response. I saw this small Viviparous lizard taking it easy in the middle of thick Ostrich fern bush. I have really enjoyed the cameras’ new 45MP stacked sensor that enables high resolution in every circumstance. Even quicker encounter was a moment with a dragon fly which stayed still only a moment before disappearing to play with its mate in the air. In this situation I found it very useful for being able to take up to 30 RAW frames per second. The moment passed so quickly and I had only a few shots before the protagonist took off.
