Being in nature fosters learning that is so precious. I would have loved to share images of children, studying under trees and in open spaces, walking through puddles and grass with umbrellas, swinging from trees and chatting by a small pond, crouching down to look at snails and centipedes, playing football in the rains… and more. But I need to be mindful of their privacy.
I come here every month, to take classes, have engaging conversations with students and teachers, soak in the beauty of nature (monsoons are extra special), breathe clean air…and more. Sometimes people ask me disapprovingly, why have you sent him to a boarding school? It’s not a punishment, but a gift that I think will have a deep impact on the person he becomes, and the choices he makes in life. As parents, all we can give our children is a nurturing environment to grow, to learn, to experience.
