For today’s 20th Day of Coatmas I’ll mention the coat but also want to share this wonderful farm with you. I’m lucky enough to meet interesting, determined & inspiring people – well Mike Duxbury & Ness Shillito certainly have all of that in spades or could that be wellies…
Firstly the coat/jacket. It’s a lightweight 4oz wax number by @barbour I bought a UK size 12. Marvellous. Extra points for hood,
inside pocket (not usual on ladies coats) drawstring waistband hidden inside (thus creating an illusion of a ‘waist’) & pretty damn waterproof. Not super warm so go extra layers in winter. Perfect for rainy days & Mondays (yes I know it’s Wednesday 😉🙄) Plus visits to farms… and yes that pig did nip my derrière 🐽🐷🐖🤣
Mike Duxbury, who lost his sight at the age of six through infantile glaucoma, only ever wanted to be a farmer. Having grown up on the family farm, he was determined not to let the loss of his sight stop him chasing the only career he ever wanted.
