Nikki Reed Instagram – One of the most inspiring evenings of my life spending time with our new friends Dash and Erika at their beautiful regenerative farm @starseedranch . We walked their gorgeous 26 acres, and talked about restoring soil and improving the land through biodiversity and the growing of medicinal plants and herbs. Dash shared that they are also increasing regional food security by distributing plant matter from non-GMO crops that are not affected by viruses that typically spread through these types of crops, and I was so moved by the work they are doing. We picked soursop and talked about the anti-cancer properties of the leaves, we strolled by the happy ashwaganda and kava kava and noni while Erika prepared a meal almost fully hand picked from the land we were walking on. We ate under the stars and shared our dreams of the future. I watched their children participating in the entire process of cooking and serving this fully sustainable meal and my heart swelled up with hope. To see the relationship between children, plants and soil here was truly remarkable. Dash and Erika thank you for sharing your home with us and the many people who come to visit your special land.
