Immersing in the therapeutic sound of waves is one of my favourite pastimes.
I just returned from Krabi and was simply swept away by the pristine beaches I had stepped my feet on. News of the oil spill broke just days after my return. The images of our tainted beaches was a contrast to what I had just experienced. It was heartbreaking.
One friend gathered volunteers to heed the call for assistance by the authorities. We were on standby, ready to act when necessary. I heard that many Singaporeans are stepping up😀.
I look forward to chilling out, indulging freely in the activities at our beaches once again when this blows over.
