Veeraaa! What a tigress…. What a mother… Absolutely love her!
What started as a normal safari with tigress Veera & her cubs relaxing in the bushes on a hot summer afternoon, strong alarm calls a few meters away changed the atmosphere in no time. The family was compelled to move out from a comfortable spot to a safer one further away as alarm calls meant presence of another tiger close to them.
It’s always nice to see mother and cubs in the wild. And having seen these two cubs since they were barely a couple of months old, it’s always special to see them growing. Though they look fine here, they face a constant threat by another female, Bela with whom their mother had a bad territorial fight just a few months ago. She was severely injured & no one was sure if she’d make it, putting the lives of these young cubs at risk too. Fortunately she has recovered now.
