In the space of an hour I had the ultimate thrill of calling up @shaliniusha and @rahulchittella and breaking the news that they had won at the State and National awards respectively. Clichés be damned, I am over the moon, and so so proud of these two fine human beings who also happen to be among the best filmmakers I have worked with. Thank you for ensuring that everyone on set had a happy and safe environment to work in 🤍 I can not overemphasise what a pleasure it was to collaborate with you, and your big wins today have made my heart brim over with joy ❤️ Thank you for giving all of us something to celebrate — these moments are precious and give us the strength to carry on during bleak times.
