My best friend is going on an adventure tomorrow. It will be an Odyssey of sorts. He will travel long distances. Meet new people. Explore new lands. Work on new projects. Write new songs. Maybe discover pieces of himself that he will eventually introduce me to. (I hope I like them) I love this man. I’m so proud of him and I will miss him like hell. We have been bickering a little tonight and it makes me smile because I actually know that we just already miss each other and this is one way we act like idiot ding dongs. To know her is to love her. (I came up with that.) She has rewritten my expectations of being a person. (I came up with that also.) When I opened a message from Happy Go Landry’s mom, it made my morning. She is so precious. After reading more about her, I learned she has a rare genetic disease. She received her nickname from always being so happy and having a contagious laugh. How perfect is she? They love her brave polka dot gown designed by @sarabareilles It’s one of the rare pictures where you can see the message from Sara in her own handwriting that reads, “Sara B loves me.” I truly love our community with all of my being.
