This Sunday, American sprinter Noah Lyles took home the gold in the thrilling Olympic 100-meter men’s race!
But just as significant as Lyles’ victory, was the message he shared on social media after the race — the obstacles an individual faces does not define them.
Similarly, our participants aren’t defined by Down syndrome. It’s a PART of who they are, but not ALL of who they are. Down syndrome does not put a ceiling on what they can accomplish!
