In LEOPARDS, Both sexes use urine to mark their territories, but after urinating A MALE will then scrape the ground to transfer the scent of his urine onto his feet to be carried during territorial boundary patrols. LACKING #sweatglands over most parts of their bodies, tigers prefer to submerge themselves in waterbodies to get rid of the excess heat in the body. tigers prey on other small animals near the water bodies, ambushing them when they come to quench their thirst.

With the help of expert guide , I could get this frame with barking deer. Usually barking deers are very shy . Very difficult to photography them. TIGERS are the only large cat species to have distinctive striping located on both the hair and skin of the tiger. Many tigers possess STRIPES on their face, sides, legs and stomach. A tiger’s skin still displays its stripes if you shave away the fur. Leopards are FAST FELINES and can run at up to 58km/h! They’re super springy, too, and can leap 6m forward through the air – that’s the length of three adults lying head to toe! 4. On d occasion of world tiger day, I want to share this image of TIGER Bcoz this tiger is very special to me. THE ONE EYED QUEEN OF RANATHAMBORE -T-99 also called Aishwarya…. Thankful to @ravi_ranthambhore reason behind this sighting… It was FEBRUARY /2024, evening safari, sighted this beautiful tigress who is feeling unwell and about to deliver the cubs .. the whole evening safari spent with this tigress sighting. The next day I decided to go to the same zone 10 to spot the same tigress. It was February 3/2024 morning safari, very exciting to see the tigress as everyone gossiping about the delivery of the cubs. We rushed to the spot to see the tigress, & YES luckily spotted the delivering cubs, . But very BAD Tigress was unwell and lost her one cub bcoz of premature birth. But later the news was other two cubs are also lost . Thankgod T-99 was safe . Till today I remember the sighting of the entire process …. In the jungle birth and death is a difficult task for every livingbeing …// we thing tiger can survive very easily. But giving birth and raising a cub is the most difficult task For a TIGRESS … I’m wishing to see this Tigress with cubs soon in my next expedition for RANATHAMBORE !!!!!!!! #rajasthan #rajasthantourism #ranathambore #tigerdiaries
