I am yet to read any thing by Fredrick Backman that doesn’t completely move me. But the beartown trilogy is just absolutely devastating. So much so that I went back to the first pages of The Winners right after finishing it and completely broke down (in a cab 🤦🏻♀️). He is just the best at creating imaginary humans- so complicated, so simple – essentially Human.
