Coralie’s career took off with the critically acclaimed Revenge, a visceral thriller that received widespread praise for its fresh take on the genre and its powerful feminist undertones. Before that, she directed the short film Reality , a thought-provoking piece exploring identity and technology.
Her film The Substance follows Elisabeth Sparkle, played by @demimoore, who faces a devastating blow on her 50th birthday as her boss fires her from her renowned aerobics show. Amid her distress, a laboratory offers her a substance which promises to transform her into an enhanced version of herself.
