Victoria Jancke Instagram – I spent so much of my life trying to find self worth in the validation of other people. Whether it was seeking validation for a job well done from my teacher growing up, or from having a guy want to date me or ask me to marry him, or having friends that were in the „cool group“. I never thought to find self worth from within and I let it rest solely in the people around me. It wasn’t until I lost the people who gave me my worth that I was faced with the only option to search within, and you know what that did? . Finding my worth within allowed me to make decisions based on what I wanted, not based on what others did.. Finding my worth allowed me to date people that matched what I wanted, not just dating people because they liked me. Finding my worth allowed me to find my voice and start using it because I knew that everyone in my life was meant to be there- if someone left because of a boundary, they shouldn’t be here anyway.. Finding my worth has also allowed my current relationships to be what they are. I don’t think I would be comfortable in meaningful friendships or my work success if I didn’t think I deserved it. No one can give that to me and now, no one can take it away. ✨🦋
