Contrary to what we were told, the way you look and the amount you weigh can’t signify whether or not you are healthy mentally, physically, or spiritually.

A healthy lifestyle includes having a community, enjoying food, feeling energised, having a social life, finding fulfilment in your day-to-day life, moving your body in the way you want, and resting when you’re tired. It also includes Focusing on more nutrients over fewer calories, taking your supplements, sleeping well, feeling loved and loving others, and doing what you can to reduce your overall stress.

I’m so grateful that I realised that life was too short to let food, exercise, and an obsession with thinness consume me. Living a healthy lifestyle will always be a part of my life, but it isn’t my whole life, and it feels good this way.
