Me : I am Palestinian/Egyptian born and raised in Lebanon, French citizen..
The Uber driver : I thought I had an accent 😂
Me : glad I can make u feel good about your accent ! Where are u from ?
The Uber driver : I am Russian from Ukraine
Me : I thought telling you where I am from is complicated 😂
Me : can I ask you what do u think is gonna happen in Ukraine ?
The Uber driver : I think that no one man should have so much power that his word would change people’s lives.. it does not matter which country we are in.. what matters is the old lady who 90 years old and is stuck in her house on the last floor, bc there is no electricity, she can’t take the elevator to go buy her food..
