they’re a charity organization dedicated to provide home and care for indigent children with cancer. some of these kids are as young as 1 year old—while others experienced being revived multiple times, and so many more stories. knowing what these angels had to endure at such a young age breaks my heart but it’s also a reminder to be grateful for what we have, don’t lose up, and to always give back and be a blessing for others, every chance that you can get.
being here reminded me of my dad, too, and his 7 years of fight with cancer; accompanying him all those years i saw upclose how much strength and love from people around you is needed to survive every single day. hindi madali, pero gumagaan kapag may kasama ka sa laban.
may this post serve as a reminder to be that person for others; be it family or not. everybody can use some more love and care.
