Andrea McLean Instagram – What do you call a consistently inconsistent person?
A Maverick?
An Outlier?
Apparently, it’s an Algorithm Disrupter.
Which means that somewhere in the depths of cyberspace, a ‘Computer Says No’.
I’m the first to admit that I’m not consistent when it comes to posting online. Whether it’s LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook or TikTok, I go through times when there is a flurry of activity, and then it’s quiet, which apparently the algorithms don’t like.
It does my head in.
When I am ‘quiet’ online it means I am flat out busy offline.
Or as it’s otherwise known: In Real Life.
Perhaps it’s my quirky mindset, but I am a ‘focus 100% on what I am doing’ person, who doesn’t think about what I look like while I’m doing it, or whether I have shared it with the world so they can give their opinion on it.
Maybe I’m not great at multi-tasking? Perhaps that’s’ true… I tend to get into a flow state, and nothing else matters other than giving my absolute BEST to whatever I am doing.
Which means, like all of us, my life will ebb and flow, it won’t tick along, at exactly the same pace, running like a dull, grey computer-generated daily schedule programmed to generate the most impressions. Sometimes Real Life will be explosions of colour and frantic pace, and other times it will be slow and steady.
Last week I was eyeball deep in doing what I love:

💫 Teaching and nurturing the best out of clients
💫 Giving a Masterclass to a room of engaged entrepreneurs
💫 Being interviewed on two incredible podcasts
💫 Producing, preparing and co-hosting a brand-new podcast
💫 Making people laugh
💫 Making people lean in
💫 Making people feel good
💫 Knowing that I gave ‘Ah Ha!’ moments that will help them in their business and personal life.
💫 Oh… and getting a final pitch out to the world for my 5TH BOOK.
This week I am losing myself in writing again, in between doing as many loads of laundry as I can, a) to catch up on last week, and b) I am OBSESSED with not wasting such perfect ‘drying’ weather!
Not much of it is ‘Instagram-worthy’, or makes me look cool on LinkedIn.
